About RMPS

Root Model Public Sr. Sec. School (RMPS) is one of the best schools in the Karsog valley. RMPS is divided into Junior and Senior Wings. The School admits pupils without distinction from all religions, castes, creeds, race or color and has pupils from all over Himachal Pradesh and mainly from Karsog Valley. School inculcates in the pupils a spirit of secularism with no emphasis on any one religion and yet with respect for all religions.

RMPS Campus

Root Model Public Sr. Sec. School is a co-educational English medium public school affiliated to the HP Board of Education , Dharmshala, up to 12th Grades. The school is situated at Barhl near Imla bridge in Karsog. Managing Committee RMPS has been running this institution. At present the school is running classes from nursery to 10+2 (+1 & +2 Science & Commerce).

The school has given best results since its beginning. There have been many students who have secured their places among ten toppers in HP Board Examination. It is a matter of proud and honor for the school as all the students have secured more than 80%.

It is dedicated to provide best educational facilities to the students. To ensure the complete development of the children, school encourages the students to take part in various co-curricular activities held in school such as music, dance, arts and sports. The campus of school is well equipped with the modern infrastructural facilities such as spacious ventilated class rooms with the latest teaching aids such as digital classes in all the class rooms, rich library, computer labs, science labs and spacious playgrounds.

Value education is an integral part of the school curriculum. Physical training, games and sports are compulsory activities. Other fields in which students can hone their skills are Social Service, Creativity, Journalism, Computers, Environmental Preservation, House Keeping and Indian and Western Music.
